How sync works

Each user connects their own mailbox with OAuth. Pellwood syncs new mail every two minutes and imports two years of history on first connect. Messages are matched to contacts by address and to deals by the contact’s open deals.

Private by default

Only threads with people who are in Pellwood are synced, and each user can mark threads or whole domains as private. Admins can never read a private thread.

Tracking and templates

Open and link tracking can be turned on per email. Templates support merge fields from contacts, companies and deals.

Shared inboxes

On Growth and Scale, connect sales@ or info@ mailboxes and assign threads to owners. Outlook shared mailboxes are in beta.

Calendar

Meetings sync both ways and appear on contacts and deals. The meeting scheduler (Growth and Scale) books into your calendar with buffers and working hours.
